We use bio-inspired structures on surface for doing energy efficient condensation and add minerals to make collected water suitable for drinking. These machine can provide drinking water on demand at any humid location with only input being electricity.
Brief description
To generate water, atmospheric water (moisture) is processed through an air-filter to remove micro-particulate matters above the size of 10 microns. Subsequently, water content from filtered humid air is extracted by condensation on bio-mimicked surfaces, which are maintained below dew point temperature to ensure condensation. These surface are specifically engineered at micro- and nano- length scales for energy-efficient water collection. Condensed water is collected in a stainless steel tank and processed through 8 stages of water treatment and mineralization to render it potable. To ensure optimum machine performance leading to lowest energy consumption per liter of water produced, smart IoT for adaptive controls are deployed in the machine.
