‘Ozyn-D’is an indigenously developed, novel Intraosseous (IO) device for pre-hospital and hospital critical care and used for resuscitation of adult and paediatric patients.
What pain-point does it solve?
Establishing access to the circulatory system is critical to resuscitate the patients in all clinical emergencies.
Who are the ideal users of our technology?
How does it solve the pain-point?
The manual device gains access to circulation through long bones in less than 10 seconds and infuses fluids and medications in comparable rates as that of IV. ‘Ozyn-D’ device access points are proximal tibia, distal tibia and Humeral head which are away from the patient face which minimizes exposure to COVID-19 patient face. The device is usable by paramedics and nursing staff in resource-poor settings (typical of medical emergencies). It is sterile, single-use , disposable and ready to use at the point of care without any preparation. This highly scalable device is usable in both adult and paediatric patients with minimal training.
What makes us stand apart from competitors ?
The device access site is away from the face – minimizing COVID-19 infection risk to care-provider. It is a pre-sterile, single use, disposable device ready to use at point of care, Access time is less than 10 seconds and it infuses fluids and medications in comparable rates that of IV. It's usable in resource-poor settings – the Manual Device is suitable for all medical emergencies. Paramedics, nursing staff can use the device with minimal training. It's a highly scalable technology.
